So the Velvet Underground plan didn’t quite play out, so I (Ian) performed four songs, accompanying myself on piano.
1) The Office theme
2) Details of the War - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
3) Kings Crossing - Elliot Smith
4) Ocean of Noise - Arcade Fire
Not sure how it went, but it was fun nonetheless.
Alas, the VU must wait for another day.

I’d always wondered how it would sound if someone did a cover of a clap-your-hands-say-yeah song, and whether or not they would try to mimic his…unique way of singing or just sing it straight.
i’m not quite sure what you tried to do, but it sounded VERY GOOD and definately did the song justice.
